By Road: The route from Delhi is on the NH1 via Sonepat,
Karnal, Ambala, Zirakpur and then on the NH22 via
Panchkula, Kalka, Shimla.
385 kms from Delhi.
Koti is 19
Kms further on from Shimla, on the
Mashobra-Naldhera Golf Course road.
140 kms from Chandigarh
and
108 kms from Kalka.
By Rail: The nearest railhead is at Shimla,
19 kms from Koti.
Since one has to change trains at Kalka to narrow gauge for Shimla, a more
preferable option is taking a cab from Kalka as it takes less time
(3 hours).
The other railheads are at Kalka, Chandigarh and Ambala.
Cabs for Naldehra are easily available at all the railway stations.
The Kalka Mail is a popular overnight train from Delhi while the Shatabdi
and Himalayan Queen
are day trains which take about 5 to 6 hours from Delhi to Kalka.
Many western railway trains come up to Ambala.
By Air: The closest airport is at Jubarhatti, 45 kms away.
Air Deccan flies to Shimla.
The airport at Chandigarh is 147 kms away.
